Living proof of plot twists, Elise Kuder discovered a love of writing fiction in her early forties, when a plucky feral cat with Cerebellar Hypoplasia captured her heart and imagination. đ» Her story content soon expanded to include Middle Grade mysteries served with a dash of fantasy, magic, spooky, and historical fiction (hidden secrets from the past).
When not writing, as a Fulbright fellow and Juilliard + Oberlin-trained violinist, Elise performs around the world with the Apple Hill Center for Chamber Music in venues as diverse as a refugee camp outside Beirut, Lebanon, the residence of the American chargĂ© dâaffaires in Yangon, Myanmar, and a music school 12,000 feet in the mountains of Cusco, Peru.
Elise lives in rural New Hampshire with her partner and menagerie of badly behaved cats.
